We get it. It’s a tough decision to decide what to wear to your Pinot & Picasso session. Here are some tips from our Pinot & Picasso hosts to help you dress to impress at your paint and sip UK session:
Â
Comfort is key
Simple can be very effective for a paint and sip session. There is nothing worse than regretting wearing something that you just don’t feel comfy in. Jeans and a nice top will always look on brand and chic at the Pinot & Picasso studios.Â
You can always be inspired by your chosen artwork. Painting ELTON? Channel sequins and feather boas. No.5? Florals are groundbreaking. Frida? Flower crowns are a stunning look, always.
Â
White is for the daring
While you might wear pink on Wednesdays, white is just not the colour when dealing with messy products like paint. If you’re planning to go out on the town after your paint and sip class, it might be best to choose a colour that could camouflage any paint spots!
If you are bold enough to wear white to a sip and paint session, it’s gotta be for a Neon Nights class. White is the most popping colour under UV lights.
Leave your designer clothes for the runway
No one wants to hear someone complaining about paint on their clothes, especially designer clothes. Those articles of clothing are not fabricated for art studios. Best to save the designer outfits for another occasion (or the runway!).Â
If you do happen to get paint on your clothes, our artists will give you tips on how to avoid staining and save your clothes. They are our heroes.Â
Â
Go hard on accessories
There are other ways to make your outfit go from chick to chic. Statement jewellery items will always earn a big tick – and even some compliments. Â
Accessories like earrings, necklaces or headbands will never look out of fashion at our UK paint and sip studios. It also shows us a bit of your personality – yes, we want to get to know you.
Swap high heels for low riders
Since we are dealing with paint, you want to make sure you are eliminating all possible opportunities where paint can land on you. Enclosed shoes are highly recommended in the sip and paint studio environment.Â
While heels and sandals can jazz up your outfit, it is preferred to keep it comfy and casual with enclosed shoes like sneakers or boots. This doesn’t mean we’re going to send you away if you come in sandals or high heels – it is only a recommendation. It all depends on what you’re celebrating at your paint and sip session.Â
All in all, be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on. While you will be wearing a Pinot & Picasso apron, we can’t guarantee that you might get a splash of paint on yourself – it is all part of the fun.
